Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (approximately 6 ounces each)

3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, finely chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). For easier cleanup later, line a baking sheet with parchment paper to create a non-stick surface.

Prepare the Glaze: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, extra virgin olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and fresh lemon juice. Continue whisking until the mixture is smooth and all ingredients are fully combined.

Arrange the Salmon: Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly to allow for even cooking.

Glaze the Fillets: Use a spoon or a brush to generously apply the honey mustard glaze over the tops of each salmon fillet, making sure they are thoroughly coated for maximum flavor.

Bake the Salmon: Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes. The salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). You should notice the glaze starting to caramelize, adding extra depth to the flavors.

Serve: Once baked, remove the salmon from the oven and drizzle any remaining glaze from the baking sheet over the tops of the fillets. If desired, garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color. Serve the salmon with lemon wedges on the side for an added zesty touch.
