Ingredients

2 ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced into 1/2-inch rounds

1 cup dark chocolate chips (substitute with milk chocolate chips for a sweeter flavor)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, to create a smoother chocolate texture)

1/4 cup crushed nuts (choose almonds or walnuts for added crunch)

1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut (for a tropical touch)

Sea salt flakes (optional, for a finishing touch)

Instructions

Prepare the Kiwis: Start by peeling the kiwis and cutting them into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Arrange the kiwi slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet, making sure they are spaced apart and do not touch one another to avoid sticking.

Melt the Chocolate: Place the dark chocolate chips and optional coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth in consistency.

Dip the Kiwis: Take each kiwi slice and dip it halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off gently. Place the chocolate-dipped slices back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Add Toppings: While the melted chocolate is still wet, generously sprinkle the crushed nuts and shredded coconut over the chocolate-covered portion of each kiwi slice to enhance flavor and add texture.

Freeze: After all kiwi slices have been dipped and topped, transfer the baking sheet to the freezer. Allow them to freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is completely hardened.

Serve: Once the kiwi bites are frozen, carefully remove them from the baking sheet and place them in an airtight container. You can serve them immediately or keep them in the freezer for a cool treat whenever you crave one.

Garnish (Optional): Just before serving, add a light sprinkle of sea salt flakes on top of the kiwi pops. This will provide a delightful contrast to the sweetness of the chocolate.
