Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 large apple, cored and finely diced (approximately 1 to 1.5 cups)

1 cup granola (pick your favorite mix for variety)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust according to your sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A small pinch of salt

Optional toppings: chopped nuts, dried fruit, or mini chocolate chips for added flair

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Base: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Use a whisk or spatula to blend the ingredients thoroughly until you achieve a smooth and uniform mixture.

Incorporate the Apple: Carefully fold in the finely diced apple pieces into the yogurt mixture. Use a spatula to gently combine, ensuring the apple is evenly distributed throughout the yogurt without breaking the apple pieces.

Form the Rounds: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Using a tablespoon or a small ice cream scoop, portion out the yogurt mixture and drop it onto the lined baking sheet. Shape the dollops into round bites, approximately the size of golf balls.

Add Granola: Take a handful of granola and generously sprinkle it over each yogurt round. You may want to press down slightly on the granola so it sticks to the surface of the yogurt.

Freeze: Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and allow the bites to freeze for at least 3 hours or until they are completely solid.

Serving: Once thoroughly frozen, gently remove the rounds from the baking sheet. Store them in an airtight container in the freezer until you are ready to serve.

Optional Toppings: Before serving, consider adding a sprinkle of chopped nuts, dried fruit, or mini chocolate chips to each bite for a delightful boost in flavor and a variety of textures.
