1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

For the Vanilla Whipped Cream:

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Assembly:

1 cup toasted mini marshmallows

1/2 cup crushed graham crackers

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Make the Neapolitan Cake:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and lightly flour a 9-inch round cake pan to prevent sticking.

      - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until thoroughly combined.

        - Add in the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer for about 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture is smooth and homogenous.

          - Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.

            Prepare the Strawberries:

              - In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with the granulated sugar and lemon juice. Gently toss to coat and let sit for 15-20 minutes to allow the strawberries to macerate and soak up the flavors.

                Make the Chocolate Ganache:

                  - In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the heavy cream until it reaches a gentle simmer. Be careful not to let it boil.

                    - Remove from heat and immediately pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a separate heat-resistant bowl. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then stir well until the chocolate is fully melted and the ganache is smooth.

                      Prepare the Vanilla Whipped Cream:

                        - In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to whip on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, being careful not to over-whip.

                          Assemble the Nachos:

                            - Once the cake is completely cooled, remove it from the pan and crumble it into irregular pieces that resemble nachos. Arrange the crumbled cake on a large serving platter.

                              - Generously drizzle the warm chocolate ganache over the crumbled cake.

                                - Evenly distribute the macerated strawberries and their juices over the top of the cake pieces.

                                  - Add dollops of the vanilla whipped cream evenly around the platter.

                                    - Sprinkle the toasted mini marshmallows and crushed graham crackers over the entire dish for texture and flavor.

                                      Garnish and Serve:

                                        - If desired, garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and freshness. Serve immediately and enjoy this playful and delicious dessert twist!
