2 cups edamame in pods (fresh or frozen)

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (for vegan option)

Juice of 1 fresh lime

Fresh cilantro or sliced green onions for garnish (optional)

Prepare the Edamame: If you are using frozen edamame, fill a pot with water, add a generous pinch of salt, and bring it to a rolling boil. For fresh edamame, steam them in a steamer basket for the same duration until they are soft and cooked through.
